Our Little Burrito

Sorry I didn't post yesterday and earlier today. Busy, busy, busy. There was no news from the doctors. HOWEVER, tonight we went in and our lovely Nurse Lisa (my all time favorite) told us that Delilah has been upgraded to the crib. No more warmer! Technically tonight she was still in the warmer, but it was turned off and she was swaddled and had a hand knit yellow cap on her head. She will be put in a twin size crib tomorrow. Due to all her positioning accessories she can't be put in a regular bassinet. I was so excited. Not only does this mean that Nana can now hold her, but now I can put her in her clothes!!! I can't wait to put the first outfit on her!

Side note: John finally held Delilah since she had the feeding tube put in. He has been a little intimidated by it. He also changed her diaper today. Another first!

  1. So good to see you both holding her and knowing that she is in a crib now. Real clothes -- wow! And I know Nana can't wait -- she's already posted it on facebook! We're still praying and staying posted up here in PA -- so glad to have this journal to read!

  2. YEA!!!!!!! That is such exciting news. I am sure you are both so excited. She looks absolutly adorable in her little cap. Yellow is a good color for her! So what is the first outfit going to be? I am so glad to hear of the progress she is making. We are so proud of her! She is such a strong little girl.

  3. John looks like a natural. I know he is going to be agreat Dad.

  4. Hi Kera!! I am praying for ya'll. I am so glad to hear that she is improving. Please let me know if I can do anything to help ya'll out!!
And by the way, Delilah is ADORABLE!!! Thank you for keeping us posted through your blog. :)

  5. Howdy do BG1--so I see you're keeping both John and BG2 looking rather dapper! Good job to both you and John. We are so happy to hear about the bed change! We'll be watching for the fashion show BG2 will be putting you large...US
