You can help!

Check out the NEW video I created about Delilah's journey, so far, with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Please note that the video quality is severely diminished in blogger (especially in full screen).
I am happy to email it to you (if I haven't already), if you have any issues seeing it clearly. kera(dot)unfried(at)gmail(dot)com

Please help us spread the word and invite people to our One SMALL Step walk on August 27th at Heardmont Park, Birmingham, AL.

Please register today at: http://onesmallstep.fpwr.org/dw/walking/location/34. If you can't make it in August, please consider becoming a virtual walker by creating your page and emailing it out to everyone on your contact list. All participants, including Virtual Walkers, are eligible for prizes!

You can also make donations directly at: http://onesmallstep.fpwr.org/dw/users/unfriedoss/birmingham.

4th of July Fun

Happy (belated) Forth of July! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. We certainly did, even with the rainy 4th. We decided to get into the spirit early, on Saturday, by having a little Red, White and Blue photo shoot with Delilah's friend, Addie. Lindy, Addie's mom, sent me the link to the cutest dress, which was perfect for Independence Day outfits. I managed to whip up two (and by whip up, I mean I spent too much time and used a few choice words during the process). It was well worth it. The girls were super cute! (However, they weren't very cooperative. Only managed to find a few good pics out of 300 or so.)

On the 4th we spent the day with some friends, grilling out and relaxing. There were a few times when the rain came on strong and we had to seek shelter in the house. Once there was a break in the clouds we dashed outside to grill and play. Delilah played HARD! As a result, we have a few cuts, bruises, and bug bits, so today we are just going to have a lazy day. Below is my favorite pic from yesterday. Jenn and Delilah having a good time.
