However, it was this mornings feed that has me beaming!! We have been nursing the last two mornings and she has done really well, so this morning we decided to weigh her before and after nursing to see how much she ate. Are you ready for it?!? She ate 28 mL in 30 minutes! She is such a smart baby. She knows that nursing is the way to go. She doesn't want the stinkin bottle. I am such a proud mommy. I can't stop smiling! Hopefully we can keep up this progress and get her home soon. I will be going in around 3:00 to feed her from a bottle and then again tonight at 8:00 to nurse. I will keep all of you updated on her progress.
Sorry for no picture right now. I will try to add one this evening.
I hear about your blog fom my co-worker Kathy Simmons. You have a precious baby girl. I'm so glad she is doing so much better and you are able to nurse now. I have a 8 1/2 month old girl and I treasure the time I get with her when I nurse her. That is such a special bond between mother and baby. Just wanted to leave a comment. I looking forward to keeping up with your blos.
ReplyDeleteWay to go BG2! You might want to rethink that bottle thing--it sure is gonna be a lot of work for you Mama to pump enought milk to last while you are on vacation in Florida..between your Nana and I we have everything you'll need and probably everything you could want (except the nursing thing)..LOL...We love you all very much.
ReplyDeleteYAY for breast feeding! I'm so proud of you little miss lily! And great job Kera!
