Delilah took her first flight yesterday morning. She did FANTASTIC! She didn't get fussy until we were unloading from our last flight. She was tired of sitting so still.
You may be wondering why we were flying. We decided to take a little vacation to John's parents home in Texas. They live on a river in the most charming house. I absolutely love it! Delilah loves spending time with 'Pops' and 'Gran Deanie'; and Uncle David too.
As this river isn't really toddler friendly, we decided to get her a little pool to play in. To say she loves it is the understatement of the year. Little girl would live in that pool if we would let her. The next few days will be full of fun and relaxation. Here are a few pics from today. Enjoy!
Don't worry, our fair skinned beauty is lathered up with Sunscreen!
I finally cut Delilah's bangs last night. I couldn't stand them in her eyes and little girl won't keep a hair clip in. She did pretty well. I decided to do it while she was distracted with brushing her teeth. Her bangs definitely aren't perfect. She has a funky wave to her hair that causes them to go in several directions. In other words, they aren't straight, but they will do. Here are a few pics.
I have been working on a secret project! Something I have wanted to share for quite some time, but I had to wait. You see, this special project was a very special, surprise gift for my Aunt Betty. Her daughters planned a surprise party for her 75th Birthday. They asked me to help them create a scrapbook to chronicle those wonderful years. I was more than happy to do it. I can't tell you how much fun this book was to work on. This book is full of so much love and happiness, it is contagious. Aunt Betty is one very special woman. Happy Birthday, Aunt Betty!
Pics from the Zoo. Delilah wan't very interested until we got to the flamingos. She was content to sit in her stroller and just ride. When I tried to get her to walk, she pitched a major fit. Considering how busy it was, I was happy she just wanted to ride. (Photos edited using Butterscotch Vintage Free Action from thecoffeeshopblog.com.)
